I’m beyond thrilled to share this very special piece I created for the incredible couple, Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall.
Their story is nothing short of remarkable—a tale of resilience, determination, and unwavering belief in themselves. Hunter, a Paralympic athlete, turned his physical challenges into a source of strength, proving that nothing can stand in the way of a determined heart. Tara, a world champion in long jump, turned her passion and dedication into reality, reaching the very top of her field. Together, they’ve shown the world what it means to defy the odds and chase greatness.
This artwork, inspired by Banksy's iconic "Girl with Balloon", features a unique twist: a golden balloon. To me, the golden balloon represents the dreams that Tara and Hunter have pursued and achieved together. It’s a symbol of the heights we can reach when we hold on to hope, even in the face of life’s toughest challenges.
Creating this piece was not just an artistic journey, but an emotional one. The vibrant gold balloon reflects their incredible accomplishments and the inspiration they bring to everyone around them—a reminder to dream big, aim high, and never settle for less than greatness.
